A colourful Sunday
Lately 4000 children were spotted painting their heart out at the Times-NIE Colour Splash 2008.
The competition began bang on time and boy what colours we saw! The topics being ���Circus��� (for Jr and tiny tots category) and ���Serving the Nation���, (for the seniors) students from various schools sketched their imagination with elephants, clowns, flags, soldiers et all.
The early hours of a sluggish Sunday morning soon turned out to be a memorable one as the chief guests Sameera Reddy, Priyanka Kothari (aka Nisha Kothari) and Bikram Saluja danced to the tunes of Bollywood chartbusters sung by star kids.
Also making her presence felt at the event was Mumbai Sheriff Indu Shahani, a true educationist at heart sharing few words of wisdom on keeping Mumbai clean and green.
Psychiatrist Harish Shetty had a freewheeling chat with parents waiting at the other end, on healthy parent-child relationship. Artist Sameer Mondal too was present giving lessons on what he does best, painting!
