3 Idiots book launch

What a great way it was to herald the arrival of the first showers in Mumbai! Crispy conversations at a literary do and lots of good-natured ribbing, a SoBo bookstore indeed gave Mumbaikars a rocking beginning to their monsoons.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani were happy to be at this occasion where their film’s script was appreciated. Ajay Mago and the makers along with the rest of the cast, (except for Aamir Khan, who is busy in a shoot abroad) were present on the poccasion too.
Vidhu and Rajkumar were their banter-y selves as they talked about various memorable incidents that happened during the shoot. A photograph of Aamir dressed in a costume of Lord Hanuman and texting on his phone, caused much laughter, as did photographs of R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi with their... ahem... pants down for that famous ragging scene!
The do was also attended by a gorgeous Kareena Kapoor, who looked svelte and sexy in a black ensemble, Madhavan, Sharman, Shantanu Moitra, Swanand Kirkire, Omi Vaidya (who arrived while the programme was almost ending and was sad to have missed most of it), Rahul and Dimpy Mahajan and Sahil Multy Khan. Madhavan and Sharman ribbed each other even as Maddy confessed to not being a reader at all — “The only books I’ve read so far are textbooks!” Swanand and Shantanu made the evening all the more fun as they crooned popular numbers like Give Me Some Sunshine and Behti Hava Sa...
