Major Ravi's 'troops' throw him a bombastic birthday party

Mollywood's military movie maker Major Ravi had a grand birthday party on the occasion of turning sixty, in the company of his Mollywood colleagues, family and friends.

An army-style white-and-green cake, complete with a tanker topping, military prints at its base, a video streamed featuring his achievements at the army... the overall ambiance at the party was a lot nationalistic as the filmmaker celebrated the major milestone of his life. Interestingly, it was Major Ravi's friends who took initiative to throw the party and the 'birthday boy' didn't know about the grand event until the previous day!

The Mollywood bunch who were in attendance included actors Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, Lal, Asif Ali,

Tovino

and directors Kannan Thamarakkulam, Balachandra Menon and Blessy. While Mammootty was seen posing for photos with those among the family, Lal and Asif Ali were spotted having a gala time, goofing around and having fun in each others' company.

Major Ravi's wife Anitha, son Arjun and brother and actor Kannan Pattambi made the occasion sweeter for him, with a lot of warm hugs and laughter.
