Ustad Mohd Ahmed Khan Warsi performs at Tomb of Boulone-Lise at La Martinere College in Lucknow

This was probably the first event of this scale to be organised at the Tomb of Boulone-Lise at La Martinere College in the city. But when Ustad Mohd Ahmed Khan Warsi and troupe performed at the site, past and present pupils of the school, as well as music aficionados thronged the venue.
The Sufi evening began with a welcome address by principal Carlyle McFarland, who threw light on the glorious history of the school.Students then gave a magnificent performance on the song Kun Faya Kun followed by a Sufi dance on Khwaja Mere Khwaja. The parents of the students were spotted capturing the performance on their mobile cameras and encouraging them with applause as the performance ended.
Wait’s Over: Everybody was waiting eagerly to listen to the Warsi Brothers and were welcomed on stage with a thunderous applause, The beautiful Sufi renditions by the group had the audience mesmerised.
