Stand-up comedian Kanan Gill had city folk in splits

laughed their hearts out when stand-up comedian Kanan Gill performed recently in Lucknow at Ravindralaya. The show, titled Punchliners, had the city youngsters reach the venue well before time to grab the best seats. Witnessing a full house, the first one to step on the stage was

who kept the audience entertained with his one liners and spontaneous comic timing.

, who cracked jokes on youngsters and their love life, which received a thumbs-up from
the audience.
However, when the most awaited moment came and Kanan stepped on stage, the entire auditorium roared with sound of a huge applause. Kanan, who was performing in the city for the first time, said, “Lucknow mein it’s my first show and what a great turn-out there is. It’s so overwhelming!” The stand-up cracked jokes on politics to love life and school, which left the audience in splits.
