Spreading cheers among cops’ kids in Lucknow

A cultural event Children Summer Carnival was held recently at the Reserve Police Line, Mahanagar. The event was organised by the UP Police Family Welfare Association for the wives of the Uttar Pradesh policemen. The guest of honour at the event was Neelam Singh, a lawyer and the wife of the Director General Police UP. The event exhibited paintings and drawings by children which sought much attention.The event also spread awareness regarding voting among those present.
The highlight of the event was the dance competition where children participated in good numbers. A classical dance reciatl by Unnati Giri won many hearts and a Bhangra dance performance on Punjabi songs was loved by most.
