Some lessons for the budding actors in Lucknow

The Thrust auditorium of Bhartendu Natya Academy was packed to its capacity recently when

Bollywood

’s casting director,

Vicky Sidana

, came to the academy to interact with the budding and experienced artists from the city and the students of the academy.
Vipul kick-started the event by asking people about their queries and confusions regarding acting.

Vicky was then welcomed with a huge round of applause. After sharing his journey of being a casting director and how he had cast actors in some Bollywood blockbusters, Vicky explained how he chooses an actor for a particular character.

The event concluded with the city’s famous theatre artist and actor, Anil Rastogi asking Vicky about how important it was to publicise one’s work in today’s era, to which Vicky replied that marketing was what worked these days.
