Mayor Dr Dinesh Sharma inaugurates Bharat Sandhya, a cultural programme in Lucknow

Bharat Sandhya, a cultural programme, was recently organized in the city where people from different walks of life were felicitated for their contribution to their field of work.
Despite the chief guest Mayor Dr Dinesh Sharma, reaching in time for the event, the do started quite late, attracting mild rebuke from Sharma. “Dekhiye mujhe ek aur jagah bhi jana hai. Is tarah se pura schedule bigad jata hai,” he was heard telling the organizers.
Tabla player Shivendra Pratap Singh, wooed the audience with his renditions, while Srushti Mathur, who presented raag vihaag in “Kaise Sukh Sove Nidriya” and taal, “Badarva Barsan Ko Aye”, mesmerized everyone with her singing.
