Lucknowites go green at this event

An awareness drive to promote a green environment was organized by a foundation with the support of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation authorities near Mithaiwala Chauraha flyover in Vijay Khand, Gomti Nagar, recently.

The chief guest of the event was Ajay Dwivedi, Municipal Commissioner, who at the event, painted the walls of the flyover to praise the campaign and urged people to reduce the pollution in the town. Under the leadership of Dr Anand Prakash Maheshwari, former DG CRPF, his team aimed to increase awareness about pollution and mitigate it at the source. A nukkad natak was also staged by youngsters which highlighted the increasing pollution and the measures one can take to reduce it.
