The play Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, directed by Suresh Bhardwaj and featuring popular actors Himani Shivpuri and Rajendra Gupta, attracted a full house at the Sangeet Natak Academy. The play, an adaptation of the Russian play Old World, was staged for Lucknowites as part of Kabir Fest and had the audience glued to their seats.

Set in a hospital, the play revolved around a doctor and a patient. Sarita Sharma, played by Himani, is admitted to the hospital, where she meets Dr Bhullar, played by Rajendra. Though their initial interactions are marked by heated arguments, they gradually develop a friendship that blossoms into a beautiful bond. Things take a turn when Sarita’s discharge day arrives, leaving the audience wondering whether she will stay or go. The witty puns and chemistry between the two actors kept the audience laughing throughout the play.
