Bollywood on canvas!

Art lovers of the city witnessed a perfect blend of Spring and Summer showcased recently, at an art exhibition titled First Bloom. Organized at Kala Srot art gallery, the paintings made by Ayesha Shaikh were liked by all. The 16-year-old class X student exhibited more than 30 impressionistic paintings made by her. Chief guest Rehana Ameer Ali, an educationist and Ayesha’s grandmother, lighted the inaugural lamp along with Shalini Sinha, Urvashi Sahni and Saida Ahmad.
"I was really nervous about whether people will like my art or not, but the kind of response that I have got has motivated me a lot," shared an excited Ayesha.
The highlight of the exhibition was people getting themselves clicked with the beautiful paintings of Madhubala and Marilyn Monroe made with coffee.
