Aman Bathla pays tribute to The Club Of Lucknow's founder member Tehrim Dass in Lucknow

MUSICALLY YOURS: A piano recital by pianist and sound engineer Aman Bathla was a fitting tribute paid to pianist, singer and one of the founder members of The Club Of Lucknow, Tehrim Dass, last week at a club in Cantt. In an over two hour long performance, young Aman regaled his audience with self-composed and popular Bollywood compositions.
PIN DROP SILENCE: After a brief explanatory session about his music, Aman presented his own composition Rain which had the audience burst out in applause.

The evening continued with him playing popular Bollywood numbers of singers Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Hemant Kumar and more, that also included some recent tracks by Arijit Singh. He won people’s hearts by entertaining requests and his endearing smile. Notable during all this time was the rapt attention paid by his audience with them observing complete silence while he played.
IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE: Aman, who hopes to create a national record for being the fastest pianist by playing 700 notes in a minute at a concert in Gurgaon in December, gave a small demonstration of the same at the event, which was liked by all. Hailing from a business family of Gurgaon, Aman was happy to be performing in the city and said he hoped to be invited to play for Lucknowites more often.
