Ajay Devgn, along with producer
Kumar Mangat Pathak, threw a party on Saturday night for the cast and crew of the film "Raid" being shot in the city these days.
The party, organised at a hotel near Begum Hazrat Mahal Park in the city, witnessed the presence of all the actors and the crew, including spot boys of the film, apart from a few people, including businessmen and bureaucrats from Lucknow.

"We had been shooting round the clock since September 11 and so we took a break for Dussehra," said Kumar Mangat. "Ab itne lambe schedule mein shooting karte-karte sab thak jaate hain, so Ajay ji and I have made a rule since we did "Drishyam" that we will take a break in between shooting and have a party where all members of the team will be present. In this party too, we had everyone present, right from the senior most actor Ajay Devgn, to the junior most spot boy. This kind of get together also gives an opportunity to the team to bond and interact with each other and just relax," added Mangat.

Among the guests were Om Raut, director of Devgn's "Tanaji- The Unsung Hero", actors Saurabh Shukla, Saanand Verma (of "Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain" fame) Sulakshana Panigrahi, Sheeba Chaddha and also Ritesh Shah, the writer of "Raid" and
Raj Kumar Gupta, the director, among others.
"We partied the whole night and everyone had a wonderful time," said Mangat, adding, "Sab ne khoob dance kiya. Ajayji and I left by 2am but the party was on till 4am. We had ordered kebabs from
Tundays and the rest of the food was catered to by the hotel."

Also hobnobbing with the starry guests at the party were a few businessmen from the city including Shashank Gupta and IPS officer posted in Lucknow A Satish Ganesh along with wife Kalpana. Ganesh spent the evening chatting with Ajay while his wife got herself clicked with the Singham actor.
"It was a great party where everybody from the film unit enjoyed and shook a leg or two! Ajayji has been a great host and took good care of us. We enjoyed the evening thoroughly," said Gaurav Dwivedi.
The first leg of the shooting wrapped up in the city on Tuesday with Devgn flying back to Mumbai for the promotion of "Golmaal Again". The actor will be back in Lucknow again later this month to shoot for the rest of the film.
