A thriller theatrical performance

Lucknowites made their way to International Baudh Shodh Sansthan, to witness a mind bending thriller play Gigolo written and directed by Devang Tewari. Critically acclaimed, the play has toured in India as well as abroad in Prague and Germany.

The play revolved around the story of Murli, a boy who ran away from his home. Alone in a big city, he goes through different struggles and walks of life.In search of a normal life, Murli takes up on things that he isn’t much aware of and people take advantage of him as he gets traded for sex. These incidents fill him with trauma, turning him into a psychopathic killer. The audience held on to their seats as the riveting story of Murili was revealed on stage.

As the play came to an end, the whole auditorium was filled with applause. People in the audience appreciated Devang for portraying the character so well.
