A spooky thriller being shot in Varanasi

The ghats in Varanasi once again witnessed a film shoot of a spooky thriller directed by Shravan and starring Atul Kulkarni of 'Chandani Bar' and more recently of 'Raees' fame, Anupam Shyam aka Thakur Sajjan Singh of TV series 'Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya', and 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' actor Divya Dutta and popular Gujarati actor

During the three-day schedule, some scenes were canned at a haveli at Nandeshwar Ghat. Atul Kulkarni, who was on his maiden visit to the city, said, "I could not see the city much due to a busy schedule but got the chance to eat Banarasi chaat and I have to say it was the yummiest I ever had. I also relished the Banarasi paan. The city has so much to offer in terms of food, so I feel I will have to come back here especially to enjoy all the delicacies which Banaras offers."

Even Greeva Kansara, who was coming for the first time to Banaras, loved the shooting experience in the city. "The people there are very warm and supportive. Even while shooting in congested market areas, we faced no problem. In fact, the people were very accommodating. The only thing that rattles you in the city is the traffic. I was putting up at a hotel which was a 15-minute drive to the location of the shoot but it took me one and a half hours to reach," she says.
