A musical tribute to Faiz

It was a beautiful evening with soulful music when recently the 107th birthday of noted Urdu poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz was celebrated at Hindi Sansthan. The event was anchored and hosted by Smriti Raj. The evening started with the lighting of the lamp by Malvika Hariom, Monica Bhonwal, Badminton player, and poet Naresh Saxena.
Malvika Hariom, singer and writer, sang some famous ghazals like Gulon Main Rang Bhare, Hum Toh Thehre Ajnabi and more written by the maestro.
