A midnight musical treat for Lucknowites

A cafe in town organized a live Indie music performance by a band named Zubaan recently. The interesting part about this event was that the performance was held at midnight. "The reason why I thought of organising this event at midnight is because not everyone is free in the evening for such events. So it was an experiment which thankfully was successful!" shared Bhoopesh Rai, organiser of the event.

The band comprised three artists playing different instruments. While

Kanishk Sinha

and

Raghvendra Kumar

played Cajon-tabla and Mohan Veena, respectively, the lead singer Kavish Seth played his own invented instrument called Noori.

The highlight of the event was the

Kathak

performance by Nuria, who came all the way from Spain. The combination of Kathak and live Indie music was something that was loved by everyone who attended it.

Cricketer RP Singh was also spotted enjoying the performance over hukkah and snacks. Accompanying Singh was Priyanka Sarkar. Also present at the event were Ujjwal Seth, Ajay Jain and Ali Hamid Zaidi, among others.
