A memorable reunion

The La Martiniere Girls' Alumni Association (LMGAA) and La Martiniere Alumni of the boys’ college jointly hosted the annual reunion at the

LMGC

campus, recently. The do kick-started with the performance of boys’ alumni music band - Defaulters with them playing retro hits like Oh Haseena Zulfonwali, Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh, Inteha Ho Gai Intazaar Ki, among others.
The oldest alumni spotted from the girls’ college was Mauveen Shaw of the 1962 batch, while Dr SA Sadiq, of the boys' college, was the oldest among all, who belonged to 1956 batch. "I still remember the sports day of our college where I used to participate in most of the competitions and had won several medals too," shared Sadiq. Ali Raiyaan Khan, of 2017 came especially from

London

to attend the reunion.

Aashrita Dass

, principal of LMGC and president of LMGAA, said, “I really want the passouts to come back to the school to interact with the current batch of students and let them know about their accomplishments. It’s easier to relate with the students when both belong to the same school.”
