A happening college fest in Lucknow

A four-day annual sports and cultural fest ‘Nazrana-e-Avadh’ organised by a prominent girls’ college in the city was well-attended by students from 19 participating colleges.

The inter-college fest began with some interesting sports competition like basketball, shot-put, table-tennis, among others.
The next two days of the fest had several cultural programmes in queue interestingly titled Street play, Ravishing renditions, solo singing and many more. Upma Chaturvedi, principal of the college, welcoming several teams from various colleges, said, “I am so happy to see these children participating and showcasing their talent. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome them and give them a platform where they can express themselves.”

The street play performed on the topic of water conservation earned several applause from the keen spectators.

However, the highlight of the fest was the singing competition in which students with their soulful voices entertained everyone. In the end, the champions trophy was bagged by the hosting college.
