A ghazal evening dedicated to legendary poet Majaz in Lucknow

concert held recently at Sangeet Natak Akademi treated the audience with some soulful music. Titled Awadh Ki Shaam Ghazal Ke Naam, the event was organised by Aligarh Muslim University and was a befitting tribute to legendary poet Asrar-Ul Haq 'Majaz'. A huge crowd gathered to listen to ghazal exponent Farrukh Baig. The evening kick-started with a ghazal written by the poet. On great public demand, he sang a few Bollywood ghazals too which won him a huge round of applause.
