It was a grand amalgamation of fashion and the heritage of Kolkata, when one of the renowned designers from the city presented a fashion show and exposition that showcased a festive and celebration wear collection at a central Kolkata manor. The manor, which is a heritage property now, has been restored by Aditya Poddar, who also attended the do.
The glitzy event was attended by the members of the city Consulates and socialites, all dressed up in their fashionable best.

One of the highlights of the fashion show was the concept of models walking down the grand staircase at the venue, instead of a ramp.
Models flaunted pastel shade gowns, floral-motif saris, kurtas and co-ords. Adding a Bengali touch even to the menu, there were scrumptious Bengali canapés and gondhoraj lemon infused wine spritzers for the guests present at the event.
We also spotted theatre personality Renu Roy at the event. She said, “The collection was in compliance with this grand venue. It was lovely catching up with so many friends after a long time.”
