In the seventh edition of the recently concluded Behala Classical Festival, the Shyam Sundar Co Sarvottam Samman was conferred upon veteran classical vocalist Begum
Parveen Sultana.
Bakul Saha, Bela Saha and Rupak Saha from the jewellery house felicitated Begum Parveen Sultana for her immense contribution to Indian classical music. The felicitation was followed by a mesmerising performance by the eminent classical vocalist.
The four-day festival, presented by Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers, also featured performances by eminent artistes like Kaushiki Chakrabarty, Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash.
The musical soiree also witnessed a felicitation of eminent classical exponent Pt
Birju Maharaj by the jewellery company.
