It was a starry affair at the premiere of debutant director Abhishek Saha’s film, Uronchondi. Held at a city multiplex on Friday, the event was attended by some of the Tolly bigwigs including
Prosenjit Chatterjee,
Kaushik Ganguly,
Abir Chatterjee and
Parambrata Chatterjee, among others.
The film chronicles the lives and journeys of three women from different age groups and generations. It stars Sudiptaa Chakraborty, Chitra Sen, Rajnandini Paul and Amartya Ray. Abhishek, who was highly impressed by the yougsters Rajnandidni and Amartya in the film, said, “Both of them have done an excellent job and with their dedication, they will go a long way.”
Prosenjit, who is closely associated with the film, said, “When Abhishek narrated the story to me, I could visualise the entire film. I did not take a second to give my nod. Each of the performances is brilliant in the film.”
