DANCE TILL DAWNWhat’s
Christmas Eve without some naach-gaana? To set the perfect mood for the Times of India and
Tollygunge Club
Christmas Eve 2018 party, city-based band The Urban Monkz belted out several English and
Bollywood
hits that had revellers grooving till late. They crooned songs like Hard Day’s Night,
Proud Mary
,
Roadhouse Blues
, Intehan Hogayi Intezar Ki, Sooraj Dooba Hai, Yaad Aa Raha Hai and many more. Post their performance, DJ Austin took over the console and made sure that the tempo of the party stayed at its peak as he belted out peppy Bollywood dance numbers. As the countdown to Christmas began, the dance floor was jam-packed and everyone roared ‘Merry Christmas’ when the clock struck 12.
A ROCKING PARTY
Perfect ambience, great music, crazy dancing and delicious grub were the order of the evening at the club. One of the most rocking parties in town, club members and guests enjoyed themselves to the fullest. We spotted a couple, Neeraj and Neha, looking their best in chic party wear. They said, “We come to Tolly Club on Christmas Eve every year. It’s like a ritual for us. We love the atmosphere, the music and of course, the food.”
FASHIONISTAS GALORE
The PYTs were dressed in their best party attire. While most men were suited up, the ladies gave us major fashion goals as they sported LBDs, bodycon dresses, party gowns paired with leather jackets and off-shoulder short dresses. The revellers were seen posing for selfies and making merry at the fun-filled bash.
