The fit and the fab’s evening out at Tolly!

The

Tollygunge Club

is known for its achievements in the field of sports such as golf, swimming, squash, tennis, equestrian and other cultural activities. But equally happening is the Tolly Club gym that sees a lot of health conscious members sweating it out regularly. So, to add to the fun, the gym committee organised their annual bash,

Adrenalize

2019, on Saturday. This year, the theme was ‘superheroes’ and the venue was done up with several cutouts of different

superhero

characters.

Members turned up in hordes to be a part of this exciting evening, which had a performance by the club’s in-house band, Banned From Tolly, and other activities like squats, planks and push-up competitions. The party kick-started with the band performance and they presented songs like Don’t You Look At Me,

Pretty Woman

and Crazy Little Thing Called Love, among others.

One of the highlights of the show was club member Ravi Kumar’s act and he rendered foot-tapping numbers like Jailhouse Rock and

Roadhouse Blues

that saw the guests grooving to his music.
As part of the ritual, the club honoured a male and a female gymmer of the year. This year’s winners were Adrian and Vinita Tandan respectively.

Prizes were also given out to the best-dressed couple and the best dancer of the bash. As the evening progressed, DJ Happy took to the console and churned out peppy numbers like Aankh Marey, Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chul and others.

“The gym party is full of fun, good food, music and games. We never miss this party,” said Chandrima Mukherjee, a member.
