Despite the premiere of her own
film
, Rituparna Sengupta made it a point to visit Malabika Sen and team on Friday evening. “She’s a dear friend and how can I not be by her side on such a big day?” asked Rituparna. The occasion was the premiere of Bhagshesh, directed by Rema Bose, and the unit came together for the screening.Said Malabika about playing the protagonist — a non-biological mother — in the film, “I could totally realte to my on-screen character as I strongly believe that bearing a child in one’s womb is not the only way one can experience motherhood.
