Strings meet beats in Kolkata

Strings and percussions fused in a unique jugalbandi when Karma, tabla maestro Subhen Chatterjee’s fusion band, presented Bandish Fusion.
The soul-stirring effect of sheer melodic beauty fused with incredible rhythms, took the audience to a whole new level of musical rapture. Served on the platter were Indian classical music fused with elements of contemporary jazz, Afro-Cuban and Mediterranean music.Spotted among the audience were singer Jojo and award-winning editor Arghyakamal Mitra.
