Screening of Kaushik's new venture
Kaushik Roy’s latest flick was screened to a packed audience in Kolkata recently.
Saturday five pm was movie time for most of city’s cine buffs. Kaushik Roy’s latest flick was screened to a packed audience, jostling for seats inside Nandan III.
So, one could see a Chandan Sen coming in late and managing with a lot of difficulty to squeeze himself between two already occupied chairs.
And he wasn’t the only one to do so. Once the movie got over, the crowd huddled around the director, greeting him who in turn said how his movie is about a ‘differently abled’ and not a ‘disabled’, as perceived by many.
In a solitary corner Dhruv (who’s debuted with the film) was giving shy smiles to those who went up to him to congratulate on his commendable performance. After the premiere, the movie lovers discussed movies and things outside movies over refreshments.
The chit-chats continued till late evening. Though many would say they were trying to catch up with others, some had the rains to blame.
