All India inter-school golf championships

, where students from 25 city schools participated.

The gala tournament had an elaborate prize distribution ceremony. The prizes were given out by Tolly Club president, Viren Sinha, vice-president

, club’s golf captain Partha Barman and vice-captain Ravi Dey. Little Ekveer Singh Malhotra, all of five, bagged the Youngest Junior prize, while the overall winners of the championship were Abhikanks Basu and Aroush Tagore from La Martiniere for Boys school.


Indrajit Bhalotia, who conceived the event, said, “The inter-school golf championship is the largest single junior event in the country and this is its 14th year. Children have already started preparing for the 2019 event.”
