No one or nothing could have prepared Kolkata for this one.
India���s most exciting percussionist gave Kolkata a taste of his rhythmic style and harmony on the drums at a city mall. In town on Tuesday evening, ace drummer Sivamani spoke about his latest music venture. Later he took the makeshift stage at the atrium of the mall. Fans were treated to a never-seen-before jam session between Sivamani, Pt Anindya Chatterjee, Tanmoy Bose, Subhen Chatterjee and Usha Uthup.
It was completely informal and spontaneous. Fans gathered all around as the frenzy reached new levels with every drum beat. The audience was left asking for more as the percussionist left the stage. Sivamani then obliged everyone with autographs and photographs.
