To them, the country surely comes first. But there are times when they, too, want to enter the chill out zone. While last Saturday, we spotted Congress MP, Milind Deora at Someplace Else, on Wednesday we found TMC leader Madan Mitra at Bodhi Bar taking time off from their busy schedules and living it up.
1x1 polls

While on Saturday, Milind Deora joined his pals the members of The Beat Root Blues Band on stage and strummed the guitar like a real pro, Madan Mitra enjoyed the music churned out by the DJs. The presence of Deora was a real surprise for the regulars and the people (belonging to the age group of 35 and up) who had come to listen to the band sing some classic blues.
And the crowd did Mellow Down Easy. The band was mindblowing and when one of the band members requested Milind to join them on stage, Kolkatans were in for a surprise. Deora really had a good time on and off stage. Due to some technical problem, he couldn’t play for long, but he did make heads turn. People congratulated him and he accepted them with a mild ‘Thanks’.
We found out that Milind is a friend of the band members, and was here to cheer them. Good for us too. Who says politicians don’t rock and roll!
