New play on relationship

Mumbai based actors Harsh Khurana and Sarika Singh are all set to stage their new production titled as DOSH on Saturday at a Kolkata auditorium. The

play

is written, designed and directed by Vinay Sharma and the lighting design by Sudip Sanyal.

The story revolves around Seema and her brother. They, both middle aged, meet after a long time on the New Year’s eve at the end of the twentieth century. During the course of the evening’s conversation, they revisit their time as students in America of the 1960’s. Pleasant and harmless anecdotes begin to give way to uncomfortable memories and long hidden secrets. Suddenly it seems they may not know each other at all.



Through the story of the siblings, the play examines the effects of obedience,

guilt

and authority on our lives.
