Mysterious beginnings

The film might be titled Rahasya ��� The Haunt, but there was nothing mysterious about this gathering at a city lounge bar on Monday. Sanghamitra Chaudhuri���s new project was about to take off and the time seemed right to bring the cast and crew to the fore.
As Soham and newcomer Chandni Dey made themselves comfortable on the couch for the shutterbugs and journos, Sumit Ganguly and Abhishek Chatterjee too got busy with their sound bites.Sumit, in fact, could hardly contain his excitement when he said that after playing the baddie for so long, he was happy to have bagged something different. At this point, the director jokingly requested him to seal his lips, in order to keep his character under wraps.
In the midst of the introductory session, in walked Goutam Ghose and the audience was all ears to catch his opinion on the current trend of Bengali cinema. Debasree Roy, who���s part of the cast, but could not make it to the event, will be essaying the role of an NRI fashion designer. ���I���ve not dabbled with something like this before,��� the actor confessed.
But the asli party started once the DJ took the console and churned out some Bengali numbers. A couple of people got up to match their steps to the beats, but when the popular Hindi tracks Aa dekhe zara and Bachna ae haseeno started playing, the numbers on the dancefloor increased. What a climax to a ���Rahasya���moyee evening!
