It was double the fun for music lovers at The Big Ben, New Kenilworth Hotel, on a recent Friday.
First, it was jazz quartet Four-on-a-Swing’s turn to present a mix of swing, blues and bebop. Willie, Paddy, Jiver and Sumith had the crowd, which comprised city musicians, cheering for the band. Next, singer/ songwriter/ guitarist Nischay Parekh took to the stage and belted out quite a few original compositions.

And before every song, the young talent gave the audience a lowdown on how he composed the number. While music took centrestage, there was a lot happening at the nightclub as well. Those not in favour of missing out on a single World Cup match, were seen posing with the huge cutouts of their favourite players. It was truly a different
