She has always drawn inspiration from real-life incidents. Director Anindita Sarbadhicari���s latest offering too is a reflection of the unrest in Raipur.
At the special screening of her latest venture, Alor Nishana..., at a city amusement park on Tuesday, were spotted politicians, poets, authors and actors. Said Anindita, ���All those who are a part of this venture believe in the same ideologies and principles.��� Taking up from where Anindita left, Left Front chairman Biman Bose said, ���The film talks about a journey towards light, which surely is a positive trend.��� Veteran actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, who plays a significant role in the film , however, couldn���t make it to the screening, on grounds of ailment.

But his absence didn���t go unnoticed. Anindita was quick to add, ���Soumitrada was unwell even when we shot the film. He could come down for just a day and we had to
complete shooting his part within a very short span of time.���
