Kolkata's Puja party

The young Kolkata partied in full force during the Pujas. Keeping the crowd on its toes at The Basement, Hotel Samilton, on Saturday night was DJ Jaya.
The 25-year-old DJ, who was the highlight of Basement Beat Bounce, enthralled the crowd with music that incorporated trend, tune and technique merge.
“Bollywood retro mixes is what made the crowd go wild”, says DJ Jaya.Tracks like ‘Om shanti om’, ‘Disco deewane’, ‘Saat samundar’ and ‘Yaar bina chayan kahan re’ were the hot favourites that evening. “It was fun to see the Puja crowd partying like this!” exclaimed DJ Jaya.
