It was a rocking eve!
City bands, Insomnia and Crystal Grass perform live at an event in Kolkata.

For those who weren’t, it wasn’t difficult to understand, because the crowd had gathered at a city boating complex to celebrate the alumni meet of a popular city school.
Moving in from the ‘here we meet again’ ambience outside, inside, it was even more charged up with city bands Insomnia and Crystal Grass belting out popular tracks (each had at least one ex-student as a band
member).
As the fireworks strategically exploded from the middle of the lake, all joined hands screaming ‘Three Cheers!’
The evening concluded with a lavish dinner, where people were heard discussing just one thing — how life has changed over the years. Soon chit-chat like, “Arre oke toh chini, ’81 batch, ekhon Gariar deege thake” and “Eki rokom achhish” filled the air and one had nothing left to do except look at grown-ups giving each other bear hugs and pecks on the cheek!
