In the running!

Strapping on your running shoes for some early morning on-the-street action may not be everybody���s idea of spending their Sunday, but the people who had assembled at Red Road at 7 am for the Kolkata marathon felt differently.
The presence of celebrities from the world of sports and films, (read Jeet, Tapas Paul, Ranadeb Bose and Deep Dasgupta,) took care of the glam quotient.Bhoomi and Sandeep Vyas picked up the mic to make sure that everyone had a great time. Two gentlemen were seen carrying a placard that read ���We Don���t want Sourav in politics���. The winner of the men���s section, Binign Lyngkhoi, from Army Sports Institute, Pune, got richer by Rs 3.20 lakh while Kavita Raut, from ONGC, Maharashtra, who came first among the ladies, pocketed Rs 1.10 lakh. Ah! What joy there is in running!
