A 24-hour helpline to provide immediate medical assistance to senior citizens will soon be opened in the city. The Bengal, an organisation that boasts of eminent personalities from different fields is collaborating the project with the city police. The meeting which was held recently at a city hotel was attended by Sunil Gangopadhyay, Sundeep Bhutoria, Dolly Basu, Dona Ganguly, Roopa Ganguly, Agnimitra Paul, CP GM Chakraborty, Additional CP RK Pachnanda and Deputy CP Rajesh Subarno.
