The party-loving faction let its hair down at Tantra, The Park, on Friday night.
To up the enthusiasm quotient, the hottest trance DJ/producer on the trance scene, Christopher Lawrence, had come down, having played at some of the biggest festivals worldwide. The DJ, who was thoroughly impressed with the party scene in Kolkata, said he was having a great time at the nightclub.
“It’s a great party and I am getting an amazing vibe,” he said. Talking about the party scene worldwide, he said there are a lot of festivals happening abroad. “But they are fast catching up in India too,” he said, adding that the world is sitting up and taking note of Indian music. “It’s slowly become very popular. Bollywood too is a name to reckon with,” he said.
It was a great occasion for party animals, who were quick to hit the dancefloor and lap up all the music that came their way. Before Christopher took charge of the console, V Society and Dharmalogy brought the house down with their music. It was a night to remember.
