Cultural evening on Bharatanatyam to take place in Kolkata

is organising a cultural evening that will feature two solo performances in Bharatanatyam by two Bangalore based dancers

and Aditya Pv. The event will take place at

ICCR

auditorium on Thursday, February 20.

Kalavaahini was founded by the distinguished sancer-choreographer

Malavika Sarukkai

with the purpose of fostering excellence in classical dance and the critical heritage of India it represents. One of the objectives of the trust is to identify and nurture committed

dancers

of the next generation who differentiate themselves and who work towards raising standards in dance presentation. By this initiative, the Trust aims to keep the intrinsic flow of tradition, vibrant and salient and also give wider exposure to the participating dancers.
