Several youngsters of the art group, Script Production, hosted a panel discussion, Amar Satyajit, at a city auditorium recently. It was attended by veteran actors like Tinu Anand, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Alokanda Roy and
Barun Chanda. Apart from the actors, Krishnendu Chatterjee and Tridib Chatterjee were also felicitated at the event.
“We felt it is important to support the efforts of Script Production.
Their vision to revisit
Satyajit Ray’s creations through the eyes of his assistant director, the veteran Tinu Anand, was an initiative that needed encouragement,” said Tathagata Choudhury of Theatrician.
The event also saw the youngsters pay a tribute to
Amitabh Bachchan to commemorate his 75th birthday.
Subhojeet Ghosh, who was closely associated with the event, said, “We have been planning to host this event for a long time and we are grateful to National Integration Forum of India (NIFI) and Theatrician for all their support.”
