City hosts a session on physical, mental and social well-being on World Nutrition Day

A city café recently hosted a session on the well-being of our physical, mental and social health to commemorate the

World Nutrition Day

. The interactive session was led by nutritionist and dietician

Mayanka Singhal

where she focused on summer diet and workout routines, especially for youngsters. She explained how nutrition is related to improve our physical, mental and social health.

“The only size that matters is the impact you have on the society. Focus on achieving health and not a particular size. Strong is the new slim. It is said that, we are what we eat, and that is why we need a good amount of nutrients, vitamins and minerals for our body to lead a healthy life,”said Mayanka.

Actress Anuradha Mukherjee was also present at the event, looking pretty in a black top and beige dhoti pants. She shared, “I am glad to be a part of this event because nutrition is extremely important in today’s fast moving life. Being a public personality, it becomes important for us to maintain our fitness. A well-balanced diet with regular physical activity is the recipe for
