Celebs and their mothers honoured at a city event

Several well-known personalities from the city's film and television industry were present along with their mothers for a special event. Organised by a city-based dance school run by Indrani Ganguly, the show was hosted by RJ Raai. Actors like Debleena Dutt, Sudipa Chatterjee, Ena Saha, Sandipta Sen,

Syed Arefin

and many others were present at the do. Their mothers were felicitated with an award for their immense support towards their child's career, which has helped them to be successful in the industry.

Talking about the event, Debleena said, "The very thought of conceptualising an award ceremony to felicitate mothers is indeed a wonderful thing. This is the first time that I am attending such an event. Apart from my own mother, I consider actress Sudipa Basu to be my second mother. I am so glad that she is here today and I would dedicate the award to her as well."

Actress Ena Saha, looking beautiful in a red salwar suit, added, "Mothers are our biggest strength. At the end of the day, we know that we will always have our mother's back with us. So, honouring them today through this event has really been a noble thought."

The cast of an upcoming Bengali film, Cheeney Badam, was also present at the do.
