Srikanto Acharya stepped into the Bangla music domain in the mid-’90s and is now a household name for listeners of Bangla songs across the world. And a musical evening — Iti Srikanto — was held recently at Uttam Mancha celebrating his glorious journey.
He has 27 studio albums to his credit — covering several genres of Bengali music. He has sung for films like Antaheen, Titli, Khela, Noukadubi, Iti Mrinalini, Jatishwar and Chatushkone among others.
The evening witnessed special performances by noted artistes like Srijato,
