An evening of football, music and fun

It was a celebration of music and football when revellers turned up in droves at a city
restopub last week to catch an ongoing World Cup football match that was being shown on a giant screen. Along with it, there was also a rocking musical performance by Adil Rashid, Soumyadeep Bubbla Bhattacharyya and
Shiva Juthani.

In between the match screening, the musicians put up a lovely gig for the audience.“It was great to perform with Adil and Shiva. The ambience also was amazing. We performed some of our originals and a few covers,” said Soumyadeep.
It was a fun-filled evening for the football lovers as, along with the match screening, they also grooved to live music. “Nobody wants to miss a World Cup match and if there’s good music along with it, then it’s double the happiness,” said Arka Sen, who came with his gang of friends to enjoy the evening.
