An evening in the movies
The audience entered a South Kolkata theatre with soft drinks and popcorn in hand, ready for some filmi dose on Thursday afternoon.
It was the premiere of Sanghamitra Chaudhuris Jeena The endless love. A visibly nervous director introduced the cast and crew before the start of the film and once over, she was waiting outside along with the cast eager to catch the response of her efforts.

In fact, I had heard of children turning into psychiatric patients when they come from broken homes. There are counselling sessions in my daughters school and often Ive been told that it becomes difficult for such children to deal with the trauma. It is from such instances that I have built my story for the film. I hope the audience likes it, the director said.
As Sanghamitra got busy inviting guests to attend the after party at the Calcutta Rowing Club, Swarnakamal, Soham and Arpita Mukherjee were caught up in sharing their experiences, while shooting the film. Arpita, for one, said that she loved every moment of it. A good story and director are enough incentives for an actor to give her best to any film, she added in between posing for the shutterbugs.
