A filmi outing for stars at the premiere of Manojder Adbhut Bari

It was a day of two gala film screenings being held in a gap of a few hours, and the one man who was seen running from here to there was Abir Chatterjee! After all, both of his Puja releases, Manojder Adbhut Bari and Byomkesh Gowtro, hit the theatres on the same day.

Abir, looking dapper in a printed blazer, attended Anindya Chatterjee’s Manojder Adhbut Bari’s screening at a south Kolkata theatre first, that also saw the presence of director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, apart from the lead actors of the film, Purab Seal Acharya and Soham Maitra.

The film is a modern-day fairy tale based on a novel by the same name by Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay.
Veteran actress Sandhya Roy, who also made her big-screen comeback with this film, attended the do looking pristine in a white sari.
