A date with fashion

It is interesting to see corporates rub shoulders with the fash frat. Not everyday do such interactions happen.
But it did on Friday evening at a city five-star hotel. Jodhpur-based fashion designer, Raghavendra Rathore, specially flew in for the interaction. With the theme for the evening ��� look good and feel better ��� many came with an open mind.Minu Budhia was the perfect host in a red Mekhla. But most of the guests chose to be in Western formals. To this Minu said, ���Fashion events are always for women. But we thought that men should also be fashion-conscious.��� A little later, Raghavendra took centrestage. Through a small presentation, he showed his lifestyle and how his growing up has been fashionably influenced. Next, it was time for a question-answer session. While one of the corporates wanted to know if today���s designers are addressing the issue of business dressing, actor Arjun Chakraborty had his confusion cleared on genderless fashion. Many, who could not ask questions, found an opportunity to interact with the designer over cocktails. Usha Uthup was also heard discussing saris. Rathore, who is known for his bandhgala jackets, was seen catching up with designer friends Anamika Khanna and Kiran Uttam Ghosh.
