A cultural evening to celebrate woman empowerment

Sangeeti

recently organised their seventh annual

programme

and it was based on the theme of

women

empowerment. The members of the organisation presented special dance

recitals

and a part was based on Indian mythological character Tejaswini. The recital was choreographed by professional dancers, while the script and

narrations

verses were by

The organisers told us that they had tried to showcase the power of women with their event. Primarily, it was divided in two parts, while the first programme -- Thakurbarir Andarmahal-- was a composite program of songs and verses showcasing women achievers from Tagore family, the second program was felicitation of 5 modern day women achievers
